Identification: Racoon-proof trees?

    Is there any fruit tree which be raccon proof?

    I don't know about Langley, but the racoons here in NW Burnaby seem to only go for sweet cherries. They've left sour cherries, peaches, plums, apples, and pears alone. One effective option is to install an electric fence around the tree; it could be a very small one around the trunk only. A cone-shaped, properly installed collar would also work.
