Hi, Just purchased a quince tree this Spring in Vancouver, BC. Still in large pot, it flowered then the flower heads dried up then dropped, no fruit. Why? Is it because not planted in the ground? Also, there are some brown spots on the leaves. Thanks, Susan
What type of quince is it? Is there a name tag? Some need a cross pollinator. I am going to guess that the pot is set near a sidewalk or paved area, and the rain water has splashed back up onto the leaves Lack of flowers could be: lack of cross pollinator and/or it has been too wet and the bees weren't flying. Try to put up a picture for us. Thanks.
