My next door neighbour bought a REd Maple a couple years ago, didn't do much forst year, next year it did nothing but this year it has leavesmore than half way down the trunck.. Is there something he should be doing to promote growth, should he do anything about the top part of the bare trunk, Thank you.
I am not sure but the leaves that appeared this year are deep reddish brown.We live in south eastern Canada, hope this helps
