I've been reading the threads on pony-tail palm and have learned a lot from them. I have two 8 foot pony-tails that I am going to cut back thanks to all the advice I've gotten from past threads on this forum. Now I need to know what order I need to do the cutting back and re-potting. The one hasn't any dirt to speak of, I think it ate it all! So I know it needs work but am so afraid of stressing it to much and loosing it. The other's caudex is a lot smaller but it is still 8 feet tall, I've had to keep it in a pot that was way to large for it just to keep it from over-turning. Hope the cutting back will help that problem.

Thank you for any help you can provide me in taking care of my favorite plants!
