do queen palm seeds need light to gerninate or can i place them in front om my furnace duct for warmth?
Judging by my experience with them in Florida I'd say no light is required. So cover them with at least a 1/4 inch of potting mix. The extra heat will speed germination and they should have a covered container to maintain humidity especially if near a heating duct. HTH CHris
I really can't say as I never grew them. Like the other poster said I haven't run across any palm yet that requires light to germinate. hTH Chris
