Hi everyone. I love plants, but never learned a great deal growing up. My mother always said she had a brown Thumb! I have ivy in hanging plants on my country wrap-around porch and recently purchased Purple jew hanging plants to hang alternately between green ivy. My question is...the ivy seemed to weather the cool fall weather and freezing temperatures during the winter, but the leaves of the purple jew look more sensitive. Can I leave them out when it freezes?

no, they'll need to be brought in for the winter.

The Wandering Jew does not tolerate cold very well. I have had several in the past few years. They also do not do too well in the direct sun. Just bring them in when it gets cold and they should do fine.
