Can I prune group C clematis in the fall? I am allergic to molds and get sick after I prune my many clematis in the spring with all the debris falling on me.
Another clematis question. How can I thin out my very dense macropetelas, Maidwell Hall? Is it possible to cut them right back? Thank you. Jennifer

Wear a dust mask or respirator. If the macropetalas are a mess you will probably have to cut back severely and start over.
