I was wondering if night frosts (here in Vancouver, BC) would cause any damage to fruit trees if I were to prune them now. Anyone?

Pruning at this time should be fine. I have been doing Apples, Cherries, Plums and Pears lately.

What about pruning now? The apple tree has buds all over it. And other than getting up into the tree to prune, and breaking off smallish branches as I go, what tools / methods do you recommend? The soil is really old too...Thanks.
