We have a very old arbutus on our property on Saturna Island that we would like to have pruned as it has a lot of dead branches that as we understand it we would do well to have removed. Can anyone suggest a reputable tree pruner experienced in working on arbutus who we might be able to convince to come over to Saturna? Also what is the best time of year to prune? I have read that winter is best in some places and spring in others. Thank you.
