The tree occupys considerable in a small townhouse garden , it bloomed for the first time five years ago. However it has flourished and had masses of blooms this year although bloom time was July/ Aug instead of May/ June. The canopy is around fourteen feet and it is about twenty three feet tall, I gently pruned it following bloom time 2011. However something more radical is in order as it is overwhelming the garden. I would appreciate advice on how and when to prune. Thanks, Bizzy.
