I have a very nice red dissectum in my yard. I have been reading a bit about pruning and think I like being able to see the branch structure in the middle of this tree. So I have planned on trimming out all the little shoots that are comming out this spring These started as single buds on the trunk or a main branch and have grown) Lately I have been wanting to grow some more of these trees. I really do not want to wait an entire year though. Is there a method I could use to remove these brand new twigs from my tree and start new trees with them? I have read a little on grafting but I do not have anything to graft these little guys to. Thanks Chris
