Hello everyone. Hope you are well. I have a question about propagating a yucca plant. I have previously cut off the shoots and planted them, and they rooted a new tree. I'm wondering (attached picture) if I cut the yucca at the trunk where I have made the red line, and planted the top into a new pot, will it root? I know new tuffs will appear at the top of the shortened trunk. Just wondering if I can create a new tree with the cutting off the top. Many thanks!
It appears that way, though I have no personal experience with it; I might have tried air-layering just to be on the safe side.
