Our lovely and prolific green Pomelo is going all out this year. It is currently covered in huge sweet and delicious fruit ready to harvest. Amazing for such a small tree grown here on Vancouver Island. The fruit is delicious eaten fresh. It also has quite a thick rind which is great for making citrus peel candy. We have added a bright red sweet Pomelo called "Valentine" to our collection this year. Since the fruit of the Pomelos is so huge we always make sure to remove any fruit from a small plant the first year, but are really looking forward to trying "Valentine" next year.
