I am having trouble with my indoor fig plant. The newer foliage is splitting at the top of the leaves. In addition, I would like to know what causes dark spots on the leaves. Also, I understand that the roots are supposed to be on top of the soil. But how much is too much and do I need to worry that I have to replant? How do I replant without injuring the plant.
