I have a Crimson Queen Japanese Maple. Its leaves have started to turn green and it's also loosing its thickness. Does anyone know what the problem could be?
    Thanks!

Hi there. Not sure if you are still having problems with your Crimson Queen since your posting was some time ago. Anyway, it you are I thought you'd find this link interesting. www.paghat.com/acercrimsonqueen.html It indicates that the Crimson queen has 4 seasons:burgandy in the spring, bi-colour (burgandy turning to green and sometimes more green) in summer due to more sun and heat, followed by red for fall, and outline of branches for Winter. Our Crimson has been newly planted and has lost a bit of it's burgandy colour. It really likes dappled sun and bright shade rather than full sun. Hope this helps. This site indicates that the Red Dragon seems to hold it's summer burgandy colour better than the crimson queen.
