can anyone tell me, or give me a web address where it outlines what size plant would generally grow best in what size pot? for example, a plant that grows 1.5m high and 1m wide would fit best in a what sized pot?
    thanks for any help :)

    Hi Jellyfish,

I don't know of any such site, but generally plants in pots need to be grown in a pot that is about 2" or 5 cm larger then the rootball. Any larger and there is a risk of the soil holding too much water and going sour and causing fungal problems. It's best to keep repotting to a pot 2" or 5 cm larger each time the roots fill the pot. As time goes by you begin to be able to tell when to repot, but having to water more often or the plant wilting is often an indicator. Yellowing leaves are another sign.
