I live in Floirda, have had my ponytail palm for about 6-7 years with no problems, but now it started getting yellow spots on all the leaves and looks like sand stuck to the leaves too. I notice some small spider webs - could spiders be the problem? Thanks for your help!
Without seeing a photo, your little spiders may actually be spider mites. The yellow spots may be the result of the damage they do to the plant. Can you post a few close-up photos?
