More power to them. I went to High School for 3 years in Putney, not too far from there, and the fall spectacle is one of the most beautiful and idyllic in the world. Summer and Spring are gorgeous too, not even too many mosquitos. (Winter is nice if you like a lot of deep snow, but I'm not a fan). Putney Village was absolutely destroyed during the 3 week high season. I used to do a lot of biking, and most of the back roads -- even between towns -- were dirt in those days, they became very dangerous with idiots storming down them, kicking up rocks and sand and making ruts. Except on the subject of guns, VT is an extremely progressive state, so it's probably almost impossible to block access to most roads. -E
