Some people have pet tarantulas; being more of a plant person (but by no means a "green thumb") I'd prefer to have a semi-dangerous plant on display like poison ivy. If anyone has any tips for growing this plant indoors, I would appreciate it ;-)

I admit there isn't a lot of sunlight in my apartment, so most of my plants require little of it.

Alternative plant suggestions are welcome as well; I probably shouldn't attempt it if it will be too difficult (like I said I'm no "green thumb").

I think it's probably 'hardy' and therefore needs a cold winter dormancy. I also think you're bananas!

Yes: will need a winter dormancy. Try something that looks sinister instead, many tropical plants do. Visit a indoor plant supplier with a large selection.
