I have successfully grown 3 poinciana trees from seed. These trees are now about 14 years old, and have yet to flower, is there an fertilizer that will help me get them to flower? We have been told that we live too far south, but the trees are flowering below us. We do live close to the sea. Any suggestions.
Well, according to the entry on Agroforestree database of World Agroforestry Centre, it should flower when it is four or five years old. I don't know well about climate of New South Wales, but if it is lack of summer heat that prevents the flowering, I suppose there aren't much that can be done.
