I found this plant on the lava beds near New Aiyansh, BC, on September 7, 2009. What is its name? Thanks! Frans Woons, Williams Lake, BC.

Thanks Daniel! A different source suggested to me that it could be a Sedum but no species name was given. What do I see in my picture? Leaves? And why the diversity in colour? Thanks! FW.

That E-Flora page, under additional notes, says "Foliage looks like little copper-red pearls or maybe jelly beans". I think the more sun, the more red colour on the leaves. I always think of it as sunburn when plants go red in the sun, but I think that's not a correct botanical explanation.

Thanks! Do I also see the (pinkish) fruit of this plant in my picture?
