I was given this plant yesterday. It apppears to be in good condition. I was wondering what it was and if it is able to live outside? I am very plant illiterate. Thanks!

I was told that these two tree are both umbrella trees. Are they just two different sizes of the same plant? As you can see, one has very large leaves and the others are very small.
