Please ID this for me

    Like usual wal-mart never labels their cactus or succulents. I bought these two plants about 3 years ago and would really like to know what kind they are. I can take better pictures if these can't help. I spent time searching and not knowing anything about them it was a long search that was kind of unsuccessful. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

    For the first one try Cylyndropuntia subulata and for the secon maybe Aloe harlana oor A. variagata. HTH

    I do not know which is the valid (current) name for the 1st one, but these are a few of what you have to pick from: Austrocylindropuntia subulata, Cylindropuntia subulata & Opuntia subulata.
    The 2nd is Aloe variegata, as Bill suggested (for both).

    thank you. Unfortunately the first one I can't seem to find much info, and the pictures I see not too many look like mine. Mines lacking all the prickers on it. The second one Aloe Variegata seems right, but it hasn't bloomed yet.
