    Hi,

I am so happy to have come across such an informative and friendly group!

Am hoping to find the name of the attached plant. It was given as a gift to a co-worker. The plant has new growth, and has been in the no-soil vase for about 6 months. I *love* it, and hope to get one for myself!

Thanks for taking the time to read my post!

it will be better off in the long run if you were to plant it in soil.. it will live alot longer

Thanks so much for the fast responses!

Considering it's not in any soil, *cactus* would've been my lasssssst guess!!

Note, Euphorbia spp. are not cactus, although this one has the common name of pencil cactus.
