First, let me say it kills me to be the guy who does not know what something is, but at the same time, I know a grower that has some very unusual things and not knowing what it is does not stop me from buying something I think is special.

He thought it was a variety of Juniperus conferta but I am wondering if it's Juniperus communis? It's mature needles are blue and the new growth is yellow. It's about 3.5' tall and put on about 1.5" of new Spring growth. Any thoughts on what variety this maybe?

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Yep, Common Juniper Juniperus communis, maybe the cultivar 'Hibernica', but there are several other similar cultivars.

One of the yellow forms such as 'Gold Cone'.
