I am really new to indoor plants and gardening. My parents bought this for me about a year ago and it didn't come with an ID tag. If anyone has any idea what it could be i'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
You have what appears to be two plants potted as one from a former arrangement. The tall spike is a Dracaena marginata, and the other small lobed plant is a Schefflera a. Var.
The tall one is Dracaena marginata, and the shorter one is Schefflera (umbrella plant) - I'd guess a variegated cultivar of S. actinophylla since the leaves are so big. Are they in the same pot? The Drac is a very hardy, easy-care plant - basically water it when it's bone dry and it will be fine. Same goes for the Scheff.
Thank you both so much. Now I don't have to seem like an idiot when people ask me what THEY are. Thanks again!
