Hi, so recently my dad just mowed the lawn and about a week later these little mushrooms started to pop up like crazy. We live in Squamish, British Columbia and I was wondering if you could help tell us what they are and if there edible or poisonous? Attached is a picture of them for reference, thanks.
Fairy ring mushroom (Marasmius oreades). A common agaric that loves well-cared lawns. The cap is edible though it is not advisable to consume any fungi that grow in polluted soils.
