Does anyone know what plant this is? It is growing in my in-laws' sun room, but they only know the chinese name. I really like the foliage and the flowers are interesting. It's about two feet tall, and sends shoots up from near the base. Also, if anyone grows this plant, definitely chime in with your experiences because I want to take some of the shoots and grow one for the window sill. Thanks
thanks for the help! i've now been reading up on cane begonias... looks like something close to B. coccinea Apparently 'easy' to grow and handles hard pruning, which is good. I like my plants short.
