Hi, I rescued this plant from work, where it was getting no sun or water. I want to repot it because the soil won't hold water any more, but I want to make sure I get the right kind of potting soil.

Can anyone tell me what this plant is? The leaves start out bright green when they are young, and then go variegated, and then get dark red/burgundy with less and less variegation as they age.

    Thanks!

Thanks Chris, I looked at some pictures, and you are exactly right. I had no idea that crotons could vary so much!
