Here on Vancouver Island because of the unusually warm weather, several of my plants have started to sprout leaves and now my viburnum is blossoming. What to do? Should I cut off the blossoms before the weather turns cold again?

What kind of Virburnum? A few of them are normally winter flowering. I have a V. bodnantse which is showing colour and will bloom for the next several months. we clip twigs and bring them in the house. A lovely pink show in our grey and damp winter.

Most viburnums are pretty hardy anyway. If a few flowers get frostnipped I don't think it will slow them down much. I'd only worry about plants that are marginally hardy breaking dormancy this early.
