Identification: Plant with red central leaf vein

    Can anyone identify this plant with very distinctive red vein and edging to the leaf, please? It looks a bit like Diefenbachia, and is about to produce a cream spathe.

    Wow, I didn't know there were Aglaonemas with red or pink markings. I particularly like the one Pho posted.

    Thank you very much indeed, Sundrop. With your start, and further research, I have identified it as Aglaonema commutatum 'Crete'. A lovely little house plant here in England.
