Hello, I recently started collecting hoyas and have 20 different varieties the oldest being 2yrs. I was wondering if they can be rooted in water.
I don't know about all the ones you have but certainly the one I see commonly around here can. But they do root easily in good potting soil and it would be one less transition the cutting has to make. You can leave it in the pot untill it is strong enough to to transplant. There is a good note on this UBC page http://www.botanicalgarden.ubc.ca/forums/showthread.php?p=100742
