    Hi

I have pineapple guava (Feijoa sellowiana) in Victoria, Canada. The nurseries claim this is hardy here, and it did seem to survive the first winter quite well. Recently, however (end of April) it has dropped most of its leaves. Is this normal, or does this have a problem? Some of the leaves have brown patches on them, but may of the others that are dropping look perfectly healthy.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Sounds like you might have root rot, when the stuff falls off, does it look light brown in the middle?

Could've been that last, late cold spell or that month of rain last winter.

Some of the leaves are perfect while others have a light brown colour, but more around the outer edge of the leaf.

    Thanks
