Has anyone any suggestions for a Pieris developing brown leaves from the bottom up? Once the leaves turn brown they start to fall off. It seems to be spreading from the bottom up. It's just started in the last two weeks. I don't want to use chemicals, just want to know what it might be before I start collecting the leaves up and trimming the plant.

Could be from the cold and snow we had. I sure have noticed severe leave damage on a lot of plants including Pieris.

It could also be from cold, drying winds. I suspect the combination is what is doing it. Be patient and see what happens in the spring.
