phlox with mold???

    A friend of mine got some phlox from her mothers a couple weeks ago. it has been in a trashbag ever since. I opened the trash bag to see it it was still worth planting. It still looks ok other than it is covered with mold. Do you think it will still do ok or should we just trash it?

    Hmm...how about a light scrub with a soft brush, a dip in a fungicide, and plant in pots indoors to supervise? Worth a try!
