Well I have a Phalaenopsis Orchid. I have had it for a week and a half already. I have pictures of what it looked like before and after. On the purple looking stem the blooms fell off. And the other stem my sister broke off. I want to know if it will grow back.

The orchid is in rock wool.

I have watered every other day and put it 5 feet away from artificial light in a/c and 1 foot away from a window with minimal light in a room with no a/c.

I want to know if I should replant the orchid because of the cut and the dying stem and if so I have a clay pot with a draining hole at the bottom and orchid bloom booster food. I also need to know which aggregate or other inert materials to use for repotting the orchid.

Please someone help...the plant means a lot to me.

    Welcome to the Forum!
Your orchid looks just fine to me. Pot looks plenty big enough. Blossom drop happens---when they have gone, the flower stalk eventually will too. These events are natural. Yes, given that your plant is healthy and in good growing conditions, it will most likely flower again. When? Orchids don't seem to go by a timetable (wish mine would!) but give yours a few months to rest and get settled in its new home, and see what happens. ---As for fertilizer, I know that you want to be a good plant parent, but I'd go easy on that for now.
