HELP!!!! I bought my first orchid about a month ago and we've been getting along fine. It has been blooming continuously, and has even grown some new buds, one of which is on the verge of opening. However, I've had it sitting in my East-facing window and I think the sun has been too hot, because I just noticed that two of the leaves look like they've been burned...dry brown patches. Of course, I immediately removed it from the window, but I don't know what to do now. Please tell me I haven't murdered my baby!!
if it's just a little bit sunburnt then it will survive, but because you moved it the flowers that are about to open may die. Just give it some TLC and it should hopefully flower again this year, if not hopefully next year
Thank you so much...the one bud is actually starting to open, but I think the others may not make it. As long as I haven't completely killed it, I'll nurse it back!
