pepper plants-->keeping them inside over the winter

    Is it fine to bring in the pepper plants over the winter so that they survive until the next summer? would they produce peppers next summer? btw i live in vancouver bc

    Yes, I believe so. You would need to give them lots of light if you want them to keep producing peppers. I'm not sure how long they will keep producing peppers. Hollyberry Lady grows peppers inside all the time. Hopefully she will reply as well. :)

    thanks for the reply but i dont care if they produce over the winter as long as they produce the following summer. we dont get a lot of sunlight over the winter here in vancouver

    oldsouth... yes, they will reproduce the next summer, you will have peppers early, some of my peppers on this cycle for 8 years now... I put them out the first week of June and they begining to ripe now, the only problem is the aphids love my peppers plants in the winter. The p. plant even produce if your window get strong sun light.
    Just went out to take a picture for you, my lemon hot peppers.
