This plant is my prize posession- it's over 9ft tall and 3ft wide. It was full and shaped like a x-mas tree, untill I had some painting done and they knocked it over in to a table. Now it's pretty bare in the center, and it is too tall- its hitting the ceiling. I know I need to snip the branches at the top, so new growth will occur and hopefully fill in the center, but at the top of trunk(about 7" from the ceiling) there is a great big ball that sprouts out in to a sort of bush- I just not sure where to cut, and scared I'll make it worse. please advise
