I couldn't find any posting about this but I wondered how at risk the florida panhandle is for pear decline. I ask because I had ordered a few P ussuriensis to use as rootstocks for there extreme resistance to fireblight and tolerance of wet soils. Now come to find out they are extremely pear decline susceptible. Is this only with the asians? Or are common pears affected too? Should I just forget about using these? or is pear decline not a problem here? Thanks macmanmatty
