    Hi,

My Parlor Palm, now about 3' tall has several fronds in which the leaf ends are drying. They are not discolored, just dry; remainder of the plant seems O.K. I water once a week and the plant gets indirect sun only. Any ideas? Thanks.

Is it cold there, do you have a heater or fire or something?

Yes, it's very cold here, but the room temperature is about 68 degrees and rather constant.

Parlor palm leaves are pretty delicate. You might want to mist it on a regular basis, and keep it away from furnace drafts.

Agreed, probably needs at least some humidity

Hard water or over feeding can also cause the ends to brown.

I've seen some nasty mite infestations on them in indoor locations here.
