I planted a few of seeds from a papaya i bought in the super market. Then I got the nly one that germinated and put it in another pot. It is about 4 days old and is less than an inch tall. Am not sure if somthing went wrong.. but it has no leaves. It's just a white stem.. is this ok? will the leaves grow? when will the leaves come out?

    - thanks

If the stem is pure white, the plant is an albino and will not be able to manufacture chlorophyll which is the plant's food. Therefore it will not survive. However wait for a few days to see if it greens up. - Millet (1,348-)
