I have had my money tree for many years and it is now hitting the ceiling of the tallest room in my house. I am not sure what to do. I don't want it to die... it will mean financial hardship. Most of the leaves are near the top.. Thanks

By any chance, do you know the real, or scintific name of your plant? Pachira aquatica?
There a few different plants that go by this same common name.

You should be able to trim it back some to just above any stem, or stems, new shoots will grow from around where the cuts were made.

Since most of the leaves are near the top of the plant, Bluewing's suggestion is a good one even without the ceiling-touching thing.

Yeah, Bluewing! Noticed your absence: good to see that you have returned.
