My son bought me a blue passionflower this spring and we planted it outdoors. It has thrived all summer. However, I live in northern Saskatchewan and would like to know how to keep this plant alive over the winter.

I brought mine into the greenhouse. Gave it plenty of sun and watered it twice a week, or as needed. You may need to spray for aphids.

Seal, you are very lucky to be in your climate zone, but Sask. gets 30 F. below Zero (way, way below freezing) in winter and even a pro. g-house won't help! It will have to go into the house, but supplementary lighting may be needed, as will lots of humidity (and a hand sprayer won't do it, though a wide humidity tray might help).
