I have raised beds, one is under the roof overhang. Is it possible to start beets and green onions this late in the year( end of August)? Are there any other Vegetables which I could now plant?
    Thank You, Walter Kern

Defiantly green onions ( some my be better than others ), and beet I wouldn't bother. With regards to other vegiatbles, spinach, galic, lettus, kale, corn salad, winter brocoli, cauliflower... As you see there is plenty. It probably will be determined by the amount of room you have and your taste. My I suggest westcoast seed, they are in ladner, great website and a even better store.
    Good luck
