    Hey all,
I over fertilized my Ivy I forgot I had put those plant food spikes in and then I gave it some liquid fertilizer. (whoops) So once I read that Ivy wasn't really a heavy feeder I repoted the soil and washed the roots, but it won't seem to get its vigor back, all the top foliage died and the vines look pretty sad : (
Will it grow new foliage or is it done for?

Not necessarily. I would cut it back to healthy growth. Don't overwater now in an attempt to wash off any remaining fertilizer. One really good flush, after repotting should do it.

Yes, unfortunately, once it hit the roots, it would have been taken up immediately, and watering now won't change anything.

ya just cut the dead stuff off or pull the dead leaves off if the vine is dead then cut back to good growth .. they usually grow back bushier with some clipping .. and also watch out for spider mites .. if you mist the plant and see webbing then you have them and get a good spider mite spray ..
but Ivies are usually a very hardy plant .. can go through alot ..
