I just received three Mona Lisa Lily bulbs. Can I plant these outdoors in Indiana and leave them over the winter or do I need to dig them in the fall? I live in zone 5.
I would think that you can leave them in the ground in your area. I can winter Oriental lilies here but they certainly don't thrive. My Asiatics on the other hand do quite well (considering my subarctic conditions), but my wife likes the scent of the Orientals so I add new bulbs every so often. Shaun
arcticshaun Thank you for your reply. I think this is a beautiful flower and would love to get them to spread; however I have 10 brown thumbs and everything I touch seems to die. Wish me luck.
