I have a kalamata olive tree that I bought online. I was surfing the internet that other day and found a site where they claim that they grow kalamatas in Connecticut. Is this possible? If so I want one.

In a big greenhouse, no reason why not. But not outdoors!

Zone 6 specifically is what they said after reading it again. How about Southwest Missouri. Do I have a chance?

Sorry, no. Olive is zone 9-10, with occasional heavy mortality in severe winters even in the colder parts of zone 9.
