I can never figure out what to do with the soil from last year's flower pots. Is it re-useable (e.g. for planting annuals in pots)? Is it OK to dump it on existing beds?

    Thanks,

    Michelle

you can certainly mix it into the soil in your outdoor flowerbeds. just make sure that whatever type of soil mix it is will be beneficial to whatever is planted in that particular bed.

I usually dump in my compost and muddle it around there.

If disease infested re-use not desirable.

I smash the ball of soil with a machette, and put it through the chipper/shredder and blast it onto the compost pile. I even encougage my neighbors to drop their plant roots off. I consider the product a real plus.
