I hope this is posted in the correct area, if not, please move it, and sorry about that .
I am an avid 'obsessive' gardener in the Southern U.S. Obsessive meaning when I find something I like, I tend to gather all I can . Sedums have been my 'love' for the past 4 or 5 years, and i have a small collection of around 85 different types. I enjoy succulents of any type, but am limited , as I am in zone 6b, so if it can't be grown out of doors year round, I have to bring it in. As it is, my house is a jungle. I love gardening of all types, daylilies, exotics, lilies, columbines, peonies, alliums....again a little obsession of mine. My children are teenagers and together we are working on several small ponds in my backyard, and try and plant flowers and build houses to attract the local birds and wildlife.I could go on and on, I have large gardens for such a small area. I thouroughly enjoy it. I'm a single parent, and people who stop to look at my garden often ask me how I have the time. To me it's part of my day, like eating, and breathing LOL. Just wanted to say hi, I hope to meet some new friends here and learn alot. I hope to learn something new every day of my life.
